Ben Glazer, president of Linde Gas & Equipment Inc. (LG&E) and Latin America, was appointed to his current position in 2020.
Ben joined Praxair's Treasury department in 2002 as an associate. He then served as a financial analyst with the North American Industrial Gases business unit. In 2004, Ben became controller for Praxair Services, Inc., followed by an assignment as general manager of the Asset Integrity Division of a Praxair subsidiary in Houston that served the refining and chemical markets. In 2006, he transferred to Praxair Electronics as managing director of the advanced components business. Two years later, he was named global business manager for rare gases and assumed responsibility for helium in 2009. In 2012, Ben became director of executive staff, where he supported the office of the CEO. In 2014, he was named president of Praxair Mexico and Central America. Ben was named manager of merger integration in 2017, leading integration for Linde plc during the merger between Praxair and Linde.
Ben earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the United States Air Force Academy, a master's degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University and a master's degree in business administration from Cornell University.
